Amethyst Carnival .. a Fenton Trademark since 1907 [19 Items]
The deep shade of anethyst glass, which played a vital role in our revival of Carnival during the 1970's, is sprayed with metallic salts while the glass is still hot. As the spray is applied, a rainbow of rich color emerges. Frances Burton used metallic paints to create her "Golden Daisy" motiff adding luster and depth. Six unique moulds (Some from Fostoria and others from Imperial and Indiana Glass) complete this beautifull grouping! Fenton's Carnival is now 100 years old. Made from day one!

Burmese Glass, a lost art recovered! [34 Items]
Delightful original Burmese glass echos the color development of Mt Washington Glass in the closing years of the 1800's. This heat sensitive glass is most demanding on the artisans for timing and proportion makes the difference between a work of art and a reject. Made with pure gold in the formula, the gold reacts to its being reheated and forms the pink blush so admired. Fenton is the sole producer of Burmese Glass.

Beginning in 2000 and continuing each year leading up to our 100th anniversary in 2005, two family members will each select a signature piece, which has personal meaning to them, for the Fenton Centennial Collection. Turn of the 19th to early 20th Century "State of Social Graces" Pickel Caster. Yes ... this was the very "last word" in proper serving of such items as pickels, olives etc for high society functions! Fenton (and other glass makers) produced these hi-style items and now have done it again!
